Introducing Sandpaper Eyewear—an audacious, ultra-bulky pair of safety glasses that represent more than just great style; they’re the culmination of a ten-year creative journey full of twists, turns, and unexpected lessons. It all started long ago, with a childhood dream of crafting sunglasses. Back then, the workshop was for simple skateboard ramps, and the tools were as much about imagination as they were about craftsmanship. The first attempt? Let’s just say it wasn’t exactly a masterpiece. But that’s how every great story begins—through failure, persistence, and the desire to keep trying.

Fast forward ten years, and Sandpaper has spent thousands of hours learning, experimenting, and evolving. What began in a cluttered garage has now come to life in a real factory, where artistry meets expertise. These glasses are the embodiment of that growth—the product of countless trials and triumphs, failures and breakthroughs. They’re more than just safety glasses. They’re a symbol of what happens when passion meets persistence, and when you refuse to give up on what you started, no matter how long it takes.

By getting in early on our pre-order, you will get to be part of the design conversation, and work with us to decide colors, finishes and inscriptions. 

These pairs are made of Italian Cellulose Acetate, a by-product of wood manufacturing, and are shaped and machined entirely in-house. These frames will accept any lenses, from prescription to ANSI Z87 Safety rated lenses.
